Updated: Feb 20, 2023

Looking for a vacation away from the bustling city? Well, that's understandable. Sometimes all we need is a break and some quiet time with nature. In addition to that, being able to bring your dog will be the greatest bonus right? So here's a list made just for you as we've covered a few places in Malaysia from Johor all the way to Langkawi Island.

Maximum 2 pets are allowed per shed except for Mud Shed (only 1 allowed). Pets are not allowed in the swimming pool and on the beds. Remember to bring along your furkid's own feeding sets as you are not allowed to use the kitchen sets provided to feed your pets! Please also remember to always pick up after your furkid.

2. The Dusun

Berembun House, Tembusu House and Emas Houses are dog-friendly because they have large decks within the houses and there are dog gates too. A maximum of 2 doggos are allowed per house but they are not allowed to enter the pools, on any furniture and should be on a leash when not in the houses! Better to be safe than sorry!

Dogs must be trained but they aren't allowed into the restaurant and chalets. Here, your furkid(s) must be kept on a leash on the verandahs at night. You will have to bring your dog’s food bowls with you as the resort is not able to provide you with anything your doggo needs! Ensure all of your furkid's vaccinations are up to date before bringing him/her over!

Pet-friendly rooms are subject to availability so do make your reservations as early as possible!

Malaysia has been getting better and more accepting towards dogs but there are still limited places that would allow our doggos. Therefore, please make sure to call and check with the retreat's or resort's administration about bringing your furkid. We should also be always be mindful of other guests there, bring poop bags wherever you go, and always clean up any messes your furkids have made! We really do not want any of these amazing places to not allow dogs anymore in future, do we? 🐶😁

As always, hit us up on our Instagram or at our email myforeverdoggo@gmail.com if there are more places we haven't discovered!
